People pointing, fingerpainting the world, leaving me the silhouette of my life. And I'm filling in the negative space with positively everything.

About Me
Hunger Mountain
I'm so happy! The first chapter of my work-in-progress was accepted for publication in the upcoming issue of Hunger Mountain, the lovely lovely VCFA Journal of the Arts! The excerpt is from my YA novel, a re-imagining of Wuthering Heights, set in the American Ozarks of the late 1800s. I can't stop smiling!

Hurray!!!
Congratulations! :)
Thanks, Sarah!
Wonderful!! What an interesting premise too!
Thanks, Nandini! When I heard about the acceptance, I withdrew it from a first chapter contest at a different lit journal and was told it had made the short list, which made me happy too. I hope the rest of the novel keeps people's interest as much as the first chapter...
Congratulations!
Thanks, Deborah! The present issue is awesome--I love your article!
